WhatTheSlides
From What The Wiki?!
WhatTheSlides is the slide archive for all the talks given at the WhatTheHack conference. Over 100 talks were given, so now we need to get the slides archived.

Request to all speakers
Would all speakers please be so kind to put their slides into the Wiki.
Please upload your talk as a PDF to the Wiki. This way a localcopy archive of the slides is created for future. If you need to translate them to a PDF format, you can use OpenOffice for free. Then put your slides down here in this pages, for easy access.
Please rename your slides to the following format: wth-slides-[name of presentation from schedule].pdf
[edit]
Reasons
Reasons why we should archive the slides:
- Have a single location where to find the slides
- Most talks were given using slides as a media.
- For historical purposes it would be great to have your slides online as well. It would be best to have them in a PDF format.
- All talks have been taped ReHash_Village anyway and put online by on the Rehash Site http://rehash.xs4all.nl/ and there are even VideoMirror.
- There is an effort made to transcript all talks Transcribing_the_Rehash_videos.
- Information wants to be free, the information is in the slides, so please put the slides in the wiki.
- Complete archive of the event in written word, video tapes and slides.

Other Cons
It's quite normal for large hacker Conferences to have the slides put online.
For example:
- The DefCon media archive http://www.defcon.org/html/links/defcon-media-archives.html goes back all the way to the first Conference.
- The Blackhat media archive http://www.blackhat.com/html/bh-multimedia-archives-index.html
