News
- There will be some Areas where People and Projects can test and play on the Complete 2,4 and 5 ghz Frequency. The Areas for testing will be published one week before the event starts.
- For 5 Ghz we doesnt have an Public Channel at the moment. Please discuss the best channel for olsr on 5 GHZ wireless lan. At the moment we will use DFS(DynamicFrequencySelection).
- ALL Public Experiments like OLSR and other stuff must be on Channel 10 on 2,4 Ghz and not more than 20mW of Transmit Power
- If the Wireless Network is not working we will change the Frequency Config and DEAUTH on special AccessPoints which are intercepting the normal Organizer Wireless Lan

Public Wireless Lan
- 802.11b -- Channel 1,4,7,13
- 802.11a -- ALL Channels excluded 40 for OLSR
- Hardware -- 60x Soekris net45/4826 with 2 Atheros AR5212 a/b/g
- Public Mesh Channels: 10 (2,4 GHZ) 40 (5 GHZ) like olsr ;-)
- Software: OpenBSD current, openHAL, hostapd
We have a Wireless Intrusion Detection System which will be monitoring all 60 Soekris Aps. The Monitoring is active and proactive.
People who will bring own Access Points like meshnode must use Channel 10 on 2,4 Ghz and 40 for 5 GHZ. All Accesspoints which are not from the Organizer Wirless Lan and not in our Whitelist on the Wireless Managment Server, will be attacked by the Wireless IDS.
More information coming soon.
