Cecile is one of the people behind http://streamtime.org. The crew consists of journalists, poets, (video-)artists, software developers, bloggers. Streamtime exists since some more than a year and is a unique project of communication with Iraqi people in Iraq and the Diaspora. All this with Open Source and Free software, developed by http://dyne.org, http://rastasoft.org, and with http://dynebolic.org.
Cecile has been working as a journalist/researcher: - as a correspondent 4 years from Italy for Dutch daily Trouw (and other, plus Italian media) - as a Toxics-campaigner for Greenpeace NL - as researcher for Greenpeace International on the disastrous petrochemical industry near Venice - as a program officer for Novib (Dutch Oxfam) on Burundi/Congo/Rwanda - as a researcher for BlinN (Bonded labour in The Netherlands, a project of Humanitas and Novib) investigating the limited 'Best Practices' in Italy and The Netherlands in the field of NGO's taking care of the many and growing numbers of women being trafficked (from for example Nigeria and former Eastblock) for prostitution in Europe (markett?!) - as a researching journalist for the VVOJ she recently did an investigation to Italian Investigative journalism in times of censorship and mediamonopolies by you know who.
