Talk:Family Village

From What The Wiki?!

OK, we seem to have two different topics here.

a) A place where people will camp

b) A place where kids can play.

This can be the same place, but it doesn't have to be.

Quiet: We will only need a quiet surrounding during nighttime and perhaps during noon. The rest of the time, the kids will provide ample noise.

I saw it more as a the same place. Because,as it seems now, there isnt a large group of kids. And not a very extended kidsprogram. Besides that.. most kids are under the age of 4, its easilier to put them together on the same field, nearby the parents.
For some activities, like lockpicking and shooting off the waterrockets, we will go to another area. If its starts to rain, we may use a main tent with a reserved space. I had a little mail with Sabine about a special tent, but the organisation expects to have more space then needed. So, lets concentrate most harmless activities in the family village, and where needed, to the sportsfield or a bigger tent in case of rain or more kids as forseen. Hairyscary 09:02, 10 Jul 2005 (CEST)
