I would be interested in seeing this discussion translated from Dutch. Unfortunately I am an isolated person who only knows english and some french and spanish.
I am a mother who understands hacking and encouraged my son's explorations therein. (Hacking and DIY things were also my own attractions as a child, but unfortunately at that time females were pretty much discouraged in those directions.)

I will try to get a good translation in the coming week; maybe Cyber Granny herself is willing to help me. Also anybody good about translating informal talk is invited to contact me through this page.
The hacking we are talking about here can be learned up to and including the age of 120.

I think a translation may not be too hard, though probably looses much special character in the process. I just went through it with the Systrans facility and got a sense of the conversation.
I agree with what you say about hacker learning at any age. I am still very much a DIY type with hacker thirst for knowledge regardless of what boxes were engadged during my youth. ;>

That it for love goes. Nice tale: I am to a recitation of lockpicker (I do even English and Dutch by each other, because everything will be been here in English). Lockpickers are not Jonas-achtigen that of closed can keep off. They have itself organized and they know a lot much. Companies and police force to find it sometimes not this way funny. Generally the lockpickers have there more verstand of then the insurance:) They of course also gladly find the general principles. This presentation concerned a new idea with which you closed certain 75 percents of open can get. Very beautiful and clearly explained. I just as glad that I much physics has has! Tomorrow I toekan to them for a workshop (but I think that I do not have enough time for that). At the end of the presentation has the participant two closed cracked that he of people had got yesterday for this aim. I believe, however, that he not yet closed knew. He had also said at the beginning of the presentation that he it itself also very stretching found. There as much as three hundred people in the room sat, therefore then is that also complete narrow. He had in the course of the presentation also lijstje given with what for lockpicking necessary there is. There stood also ' trust ', what he explained as something like that as ' good courage ' or ' optimism '. Then this way stretching were, it was very quiet. It did not seem succeed and then someone called on entirely of in the back of the room come! you can do it!. clickclickclick... OPEN! It is not repeat how stretching was and what I got a kick when it succeeded. I juigde and applauded and later realised themselves I just that I gejuigd had:) Especially because he had dared put ' trust ' and that that this way rightly (b) layman. Liefs, dd. p.s. if you are frightened that I am in a type robber dievengilde correct come: no. These are people who it concerns openness of matter. That knowledge something is what you share especially. That it is show useful that the most closed expensive nowhere on beat, for example (unless your people really want string the mouth, but get then you a dictatorship and many people do not see that to sit:) That it sensiblely there is ' trust ' if to put have you that after honderdduizend closed still necessary. So that others put that also on their boodschappenlijstje. p.p.s. but there are also dronken beer abdomens and pubers who other people's computer wants lay flat. Those do not go it for knowledge: them use beer, respectively programma'tjes of which does not know them how it works and for that functioning show to see little interest.

Subject: analogous From: Cyber Granny To: Digital for the p.s. What does such lockpicker is therefore actual analogous hacken. I am not this way frightened that you come in a robber dievengilde rightly and it is nevertheless never gone to know how it must! That workshop seems me, however, complete nice! am
