Like at HAL2001 there will be a Sl@ckersS@lon (Slackers Salon) at Whatthehack.

This is a spacey, confortable and relaxing tent environment where you can forget about the network buzz (no connectivity allowed!) and enjoy Turkish, Mint and other teas, may be sip at a 'narguileh' (water pipe), sample bklavas and various other Oriental delights, read books and magazine and generally indulge in all kinds of 'analog' pleasures.

The Sl@ckersS@lon is materially supported both by the WTH organisation and the Waag Society for Old and New Media in Amsterdam, and the latter will run its 'verhalentafel' (the storytable) in the Sl@ckerstent.

The Sl@ckersS@lon is run by a collective.
