Paul Keller - april 1974 - heads the Public Research Programme of Waag Society www.waag.org in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Waag Society is a knowledge institute operating between society, culture, technology and education. Waag Society provides services and develops concepts for a wide range of non-profit organisations.

Since early 2004 he is public project lead for Creative Commons Netherlands www.creativecommons.nl, a collaboration between Waag Society, Nederland Kennisland www.kennisland.nl and the Institute for information Law of the University of Amsterdam www.ivir.nl. In august 2005 he joined the board of Creative Commons International.

He also serves as a board member of the Waag Sarai Exchange Platform sarai.waag.org. This collaboration between Waag Society and Sarai/ CSDS in New delhi aims to foster critical research practices in the fields of new media, knowledge production and contemporary urban culture.

Paul Keller has been editor of various Conferences among them next 5 minutes 4 (www.n5m.org, amsterdam, 2003), WE SEIZE! (geneva03.org, geneva, 2003), Creative Capital (creativecapital.nl, amsterdam 2005) and Incommunicado:05 (incommunicado.info/conference, amsterdam, 2005).

Paul Keller holds a masters degree (april 2002) in comparative political science from the University of Amsterdam. He has worked as bike messenger in Berlin, Amsterdam and New York and still rides a bike without brakes. He has been an active contributer of a number of human rights campaigns (noborder.org, deportation-class.com) and lives in Berlin and Amsterdam.
