Porto 101
We have 4 channels, these are all reserved for a specific purpose.
To keep the ether clear of chaos we communicate by a protocol wich guarantees that your message will be:
- Heard.
- Understood.
- Registered
- Followed-up.
This means a lot of discipline from all of you, when using the radionet.
All radio-communication will be regulated by the CC. ( Oversight ).

Channel 4
You can use this for simple, funny or serious stuff.
On this channel you don´t need to remember any protocol. Enjoy :-)
Channel 3
Reserved for more serious Team-related communications.
Here we expect you to:
- Remember to say "Over" at the end of your scentence, so the other person will know you have finished and they can start talking, and "OUT" when you´ve finished communicating.
- Try to keep your message short and simple.
This would sound like this:
"Catering, this is Poc, ...Over?"
"Go ahead,....Over?"
"Is there any beer left,... Over?"
"Only at bar 3,....Over?"
" Roger,..... OUT!"
Channel 2
Reserved for Cert & Security ONLY !
They have a special protocol.
Unless you are a Cert or Security teammember you don´t go there.
When in need of urgent assistance from Security or Cert you dial (DECT) 911
Channel 1
Reserved, period.
DO NOT GO THERE!
