From What The Wiki?!

This is your last WTH-NewsFlash before you get to What The Hack. It is very short and mostly just details how to get there.

We attached a brand-new map . If you come on Wednesday or after, there should be large signs all the way from the highway exit. But in case you're helping as a volunteer, the signs might not be up yet.

As you can see there's a different route to get to the parking lot then to get to WTH itself. If you have heavy gear, you can unload it where you will need it (and of course pick it up afterwards), but you have to promise you'll go and park your car after you are done. If you do not have lots of heavy stuff, then drive straight to the parking fields and use the bike/pedestrian tunnel to get to WTH.

Please do not honk your horn to announce you're almost there: thousands of people honking is no fun for those living nearby.

Getting to What The Hack by public transport

Travel to the 'Boxtel' train station, which is on the local track between 's Hertogenbosch (a.k.a. Den Bosch) and Eindhoven. Both the dutch, german and belgian railroad websites know about Boxtel. Try to get a train that arrives at Boxtel two minutes past the hour. If there's no shuttle waiting for you at Boxtel coordinate so that one person calls our shuttle crew at +31 6 4926 8632. Even if there is a little bit of a wait during rush-hour, rest assured we are working hard to get you all to WTH.

Early volunteers

Contrary to some earlier communication, we are setting up some of the very large tents as early as this coming Friday (the 22nd of July). If you can help and want to come early, you're most welcome to. To relieve stress on the shuttle service, please try plan to arrive on a train that hits Boxtel two minutes past any odd hour between 11:00 and 21:00 if you come before Wednesday the 27th of July. The same transport telephone number applies. Friday and this coming weekend, if you are helping to set up, food and drinks are on us.

Booklet

Lots of information regarding What The Hack can be found in the booklet you will get after you register. Please read that booklet, even if you already kept yourself up to date using the website.

Communications lockdown

We know we're not very responsive right now. We're all concentrating on making it happen. Bear with us if we did not respond to your mail, we just might. Otherwise, just come and we'll fix it there.

IT'S HERE ! FINALLY !

We're all looking forward to seeing everyone again, as well as to meeting lots of new people. A lot of preparation now lies behind us, and we're all busy packing our stuff. Some very early preparation crews are working already. (In fact yours truly is headed out there later this night, as soon as the booklet is ready for the printer and this mail is sent.)
