Michiel has been involved with the Internet since before such a thing was fashionable, and has helped many businesses and individuals get connected, mostly in The Netherlands and South Africa. He’s the co-founder of a US-based computer security vendor, for which he was CTO until recently. High point of his professional life so far is being refused CISSP certification because of "association with known hackers."
