From 1997 until 1999 I've worked at XS4ALL as a communications and public affairs officer. In 2000 I founded Bits of Freedom, a digital civil liberties organisation in The Netherlands. I also took the initiative to found European Digital Rights, an association of civil liberties organisations in Europe. I live and work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
