(Mind you , according to POC you can get a basestation-less phone on the campsite for 15 euros and Gamma also sells a kit of 1 base station 4 dect phones with charger for <70 euro incase you want something for after the event as well)

maybe you like to read a bit about the DECT radiation type and levels and effects on humans, before buying toys.
there is a lot of research done in germany and a group of doctors have listed all the related complaints people got from using those little burst_microwave phones..

if you worry about 5 2.4, 1.9, 1.8 and 0.9 ghz
and if many lower bands aswell
I can sugest you do not come to the event.. it'll be flooded with r>adiation anyway, from gsm phones, wireless amateur radio transmitters, the DECT network, porto's and probably optionally other strange stuff..
and ofcourse.. don't forgot the radiation from your monitor!

• and this event is a nice test.. if no-one ends up with any damage from this.. we kinda proved its harmless..

we have everything from low band radio to umts and 5ghz wireless networking.. some people are wearing about any radio transmitting device that even somehwat works on the event in multitude..
