Joseph Battaglia, a.k.a. 'Redbird' on 2600's Off The Hook radio show, is involved in the New York City hacker scene. He has recently been tinkering with magnetic stripe technology and leads a project to reverse-engineer New York City's MetroCard. He has recently published two articles on the subjects in 2600 Magazine.
