AbstractIn the last year, a team of Chinese researchers announced breakthrough-results on various hash functions like MD4, MD5, SHA-1 etc. First short-cut attacks on SHA-1 were published in the beginning of this year. From the basic ideas to the state of the art - this talk will give some insights on how to produce collisions for real world hash functions. The audience should not be afraid of bits ;-)
