Introduction
We are some people from the Research Community for Electronic Media (in German "Forschungsgemeinschaft elektronische Medien" FeM e.V.) from Ilmenau, Germany. Most of us are veteran CCCongress visitors, and have other experience with nerd-camps like this. But some of us are also interested in other outdoor activities, like the late Fusion-Festival. We bring some VJs, some DJs, some computer hardcore nerds, some wireless experts, some Microsoft fanatics, some UNIX geeks... so there will be enough diversity that noone gets bored ;)

Video Art
We just placed the interactive Video installation -based on dynebolic and effecTV in the Wireless_Village. Go there and check it out! Tonight we'll use a projector and a big screen as soon as it gets dark outside. --ELGono 30 July 2005 18:26 (CEST)

The FeM Village
Our village comprises of a (greenish) army tent with our logo somewhere visible. You can meet interesting people there, and enhance your auricular and visual cortex.
We are located in the middle of E1.
Furniture
We won't come empty-handed! This is what we'll probably bring
- Video Observation / OBEY Cam
- Tables, benches, chairs
- video projector and screen
- probably lots of computers
- networking equipment
- probably one Cisco Catalyst 3500 (no, not for any Cisco-throwing contest!)
- a Linksys WRT54G OpenWRT-enabled
- 2 Sony VX2100E DV-cameras
- some microphones
- a 12V-powered cooling box
- a Cafetiere (to make espresso)
- hopefully enough DECT-phones
- at least a small PA (home hifi?)
- a good attitude, (german) humor etc. ;)
