Elmar Geese is Chairman of the Linux-Verband, the German Linux BusinessAssociation. He is also co-owner of a software development company. Hiscompany they came to use GNU/Linux several years ago. They found thatthis could be the right way to acquire more skills and even have morefun while earning money as well. Promoting Linux as business theLinux-Verband also brings more interesting challenges. Among otherthings this means doing lobby for Free Software, Open Source and Linuxand other freely available operating systems.
