Closing session report

This was, of course, a very emotive session. This event is at the end.

Rop, made the honors and among many things explained how difficult it is and can be to put this event together. This year a law will be implemented in the Neterlands, that makes the organisers pay for the police stationed at the event - saying "we don't need any" is no option. The costs under this regulation would double the necessary budget, which was available this time for the whole event. Maybe in four years we'll all be on the other side of the border in Aachen or someowhere else in Germany. One thing seems to be sure - we all hope to be in the next event.

After all the many thanks, some practicalities were explained. such as the need for volunteers to clean this huge campsite. And besides that he also explained again some practical and very important things we can all do before we leave:

clean the garbage close to the tents
don't drive cars onto the fields just keep them on the roads (one lane only please)
if your car is stuck in the mud ask for the tractor to help you. Save the fields!
