Why do YOU need a PC in your car

I'd like this presentation to be more a debate/brainstorming/collective dreaming than a typical presentation about the opportunities that having PCs inside cars [call it trucks/buses/motorcicles/boats/whatever you can take some extra 500watt of, and moves ;)] will open in the near future.

Anyway, I should first try to give a short introduction and a review of the state of art (basically by reviewing already completed installations) in this particular area of computer (ar)technology.

Hi! I already sent the form and I was asked for some details about thepresentation by phone.

Here is a small timing/summary I have prepared:

(Presentation should not last more than 1 hour)

Short intro. Why? (5-10 min)

What's already out there? Present technology and applications. (20-30 min)

Inconveniences. Privacy. The need for new HW and SW. (5-10 min)

What will be next? Perhaps a new ultra-mobile network? Perhaps a ...? (...)

(I will have my carputer at WTH, so that anyone interested could seeit during or after the talk.)
