Abstract

Geeky variant on speed-dating: 10-15 presentations in 1 - 1,5 hour.

Description

Real geeks don't do speed-dating, they do speed-geeking. How it works: eachSoiree, there's room for 10-15 presentations, in 1-1.5 hours. Each presentorgets a table, and the audience is divided in small groups.

As a presentor, you get 5 minutes to tell your tale, before your audiencemoves to the next table. You finally get the chance to practice your skillsin elevator pitching: what IS the essential thing that makes your projectinteresting?

As a spectator, you're not forced to sit through long stories you don't careabout, and you hear about 10-15 projects in less than 2 hours. And ofcourse, you're free to hook up with the presentor of your dreams for therest of the night!
